UK CBT Attends the Polkadot Gala Dinner, House of Lords

The UK Centre for Blockchain Technologies (UK CBT) attended the Polkadot Gala Dinner at the UK House of Lords, an event celebrating Web3 education, innovation, and opportunity.
Hosted by Baroness Manzila Uddin, the evening brought together leading figures from across the blockchain ecosystem, including Gavin Wood (Co-founder of Ethereum and Polkadot), Dom K. and Phil Kwok (Founders of EasyA).
The event, organised by Richard Houldsworth (Founder, Xcavate Protocol) and Lucy Coulden (Polkadot Ambassador), showcased the collaborative energy driving Web3 development in the UK.
Attendees included a diverse mix of builders, academics, policymakers, and industry leaders, reflecting the growing strength of the UK’s blockchain ecosystem. The Gala highlighted the commitment to responsible innovation, collaboration, and the development of talent across the Web3 space.
